PEMSEA Welcomes New Librarian

Quezon City, Philippines — PEMSEA welcomes its new librarian, Mr. Michael Villanueva. Michael is responsible for the maintenance and update of the PEMSEA's library databases, as well as the management of the library’s collection of books and periodicals. Michael also provides current awareness services for the PEMSEA Resource Facility.

 

Michael has a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of the Philippines and is currently taking advanced studies in Library and Information Science, majoring in Information Technology. He passed the National Librarian Licensure Examinations in 2005. Michael formerly served as the Head Librarian for the Entrepreneurs School of Asia, where he was responsible for automating its library system.
