Lying along the Northern coast of Mindanao in the province of Misamis Oriental, Macajalar Bay hosts traditional fishing communities alongside growing industry expanding from the provincial capital of Cagayan de Oro. A rapidly growing population along its coastline means more and more people are becoming dependent on the health and sustainability of the bay.
