EAS Partnership Council Meeting Reports

In support of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategy for the Seas of East Asia (SDS-SEA), regional mechanisms were established to review and monitor the status of activities related to the SDS-SEA and to oversee the PEMSEA regional programme. These mechanisms include: the EAS Partnership Council Meeting participated by the PEMSEA State and non-State Partners, various sponsoring agencies and invited observers; and the Executive Committee Meeting. This section contains reports from the Partnership Council Meetings.

Third EAS Partnership Council Meeting

The Third East Asian Seas Partnership Council Meeting was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dandong, Liaoning Province, PR China, from 26-29 July 2010. The State Oceanic Administration (SOA) hosted the Meeting.

 

Second EAS Partnership Council Meeting

The Second East Asian Seas Partnership Council Meeting was held at the Toranomon Pastoral Hotel, Tokyo, Japan, from 14-17 July 2008. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and the Ocean Policy Research Foundation (OPRF) of Japan hosted the Meeting.

 

First EAS Partnership Council Meeting

The First East Asian Seas (EAS) Partnership Council Meeting was held at the Hotel Sedona, Manado City, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, from 17 to 20 July 2007. The Ministry of Environment (MOE) of Indonesia and the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi hosted the Meeting.

 

Inaugural Meeting of the EAS Partnership Council Meeting

The Inaugural Meeting of the EAS Partnership Council was held at the Huandao Tide Hotel, Haikou City, Hainan Province, People's Republic of China, on 16 December 2006. The State Oceanic Administration (SOA) of China hosted the meeting.
